Fagundes Speech Center offers initial consultations to families concerned about their child's communication abilities. Following a consultation, the observations of the speech-language pathologist are shared with the child's parents. The speech-language pathologist may then begin a formal evaluation over multiple sessions to determine a child's speech, language and communication needs. Once the evaluation is complete, the speech-language pathologist develops a therapy plan with goals and recurring therapy sessions are scheduled to address the child's needs. Ongoing collaboration and parent involvement is encouraged to help children generalize skills from the clinic environment to the real-world.
